UPDATE: There is a new post about compiling C programs entirely within Xcode using Mac OS X 10.7+. Read it here.
During a programming class back in 2006, I had to find a way to write and compile C programs on my iBook G4. This was one of the ways I found to do that job.
It works on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux; It is quite nice development text-editor. It works similar to the full-version, available on Windows - with a few draw-backs, and it will allow to write programs, as well as run and test them right on your Mac. Programming C# on Linux or Mac is similar to using C# on Windows platform like.NET or Windows Runtime. Mono Project brings the same efficiency, same flexibility and same power to other platforms too, so that you can build your C# programs on Mac and Linux too.
Download C Sharp for macOS 10.8 or later and enjoy it on your Mac. Want to learn to program in either C# or Visual Basic.NET, but don't have a PC, then this app lets you run simple.NET scripts on your Mac. In this section you will create two simple C# projects. One of them will perform basic Insert, Update, Delete, and Select, while the second one will make use of Entity Framework Core, a popular object relational mapping (ORM) framework for.NET Core to execute the same operations. Mono is an open-source programming environment that aims to make Microsoft.NET applications available across all operating systems. Contents 1 Install Phidget Drivers for macOS.
